The Shearer's Quarters at Coomber offer an authentic farm experience in the heart of the Cudgegong Valley. Located on a working sheep and cattle property in Rylstone NSW, the cabin is perfect for large groups as well as the solo traveller. The quarters were once a home for shearers who visited the farm for over fifty years. Today, it is a cosy cabin with views of the property. The Shearer's Quarters are a unique experience for those looking for a special kind of getaway to the country.

The space:

The Shearers quarters are comprised of 6 individual bedrooms with communal kitchen and living area. The Shearers quarters are basic and with limited power accessing the building the hardened traveller should only stay in winter months.

Interaction with guests

Guests are welcome to have a pit fire outside and an open fire in the sitting room. Dogs must be well behaved as this is a working sheep and cattle property.
